- Frown lines
- Crow’s feet
- Forehead lines
- Downturned mouth
- Neck lines
- Lines around the mouth
What other problems can Botox help with?
Hyperhydrosis (excess sweating)
Migraine/tension headache prevention
What does it involve?
We inject minute doses of Botox directly into the muscles which cause facial lines by frequent habitual contraction. The treatment usually takes less than 15 minutes with results appearing gradually over the following few days.
What happens after the treatment?
Normal activities can be resumed immediately following treatment. The short-term side effects associated with Botox® can include swelling, redness, tenderness, slight headache and bruising at the injection site. There is also the risk of a droopy eyelid (ptosis) when treating areas such as a frown, crow’s feet or brow lift. It is not advised to have facials or massage (where you lie face down) in the first 4 hours post treatment. Strenuous exercise must be avoided immediately after treatment. In rare cases there have also been reports of nausea, flu symptoms, muscle weakness and the sensation of ‘pins and needles’.
